IDpack is a complete software solution for enterprise organizations that want to utilize identification cards that can be used by organizational members, staff, and vendors. This is useful if someone needs to update CardVault information but does not have access to the software. After CardVault has been set up and the first users have been seeded with IDs, new users can be added or existing users can be updated with their personal information. This is typically done by allowing all users to type in their identification data directly into CardVault without having to bring in new IDcards for each user. This process of seeding new or existing user data into the system is known as "ID Data Import". After CardVault has been set up, the next step is to set up the actual card design. IDpack uses a Windows-based program called IDcard to create all card designs and settings for the individual cards. IDcard also allows users to configure CardVault and to update or change any information in its database, such as adding or removing group members, updating group information such as names and types (membership numbers, student IDs, etc.), and updating information for individual users in a particular group. Users can also use IDcard to see all stored-value card activity reports and transaction histories. Users can use IDcard to enter in the barcode data for the cards which will be used to access their personal information. IDcard is designed to be user-friendly with a drag-and-drop interface that is easy to learn and use. It is also built into CardVault for easy synchronization of any changes made in both programs, which can also be done with an import file if desired.
